Free parking will be available for you while shopping at Mānawa Bay, no matter how long you want to shop, with ample parking available. Accessible parking is also available near various entrances of the centre.

Mānawa Bay is easily accessible, located close to Auckland Airport’s domestic and international terminals, major motorways and main arterial routes. Nestled on the water’s edge overlooking the mangroves, we are located approximately 25 minutes from the Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland CBD and easily accessible for both Aucklanders and out of town visitors.

Our name, Mānawa Bay, is inspired by our unique location in park-like grounds at the water's edge and the historical and cultural significance of this area to tangata whenua (people of the land). In te reo Māori, Mānawa means mangroves – a coastal plant species that provides a habitat for native birds and fish. They are a vital part of the ecosystem and have long featured in the waterways surrounding the land Auckland Airport sits on. We acknowledge this in our name.  Hear how it's pronounced
